These Terms govern your use of the Video Summary mobile app. By installing or using the app you agree to them. If you don't agree, don't use the app.
1. What the app does
Video Summary finds the important parts of a video you record or import, and produces a shorter video containing only those parts. Every kept moment carries a link back to its exact position in the original. Analysis runs entirely on your device — nothing about how the app works depends on a server, an account, or an internet connection.
2. What the subscription covers — and what it doesn't
Video Summary offers a 14-day free trial, then $6.99 per month, auto-renewing, billed through the App Store or Google Play. The subscription is what buys the ability to create a new digest. Specifically:
- Digests you have already made stay playable forever, whatever happens to your subscription — a lapsed or cancelled subscription never takes away content you already produced;
- the subscription does not entitle you to future features or content beyond what exists at the time you subscribe;
- the subscription does not include any support, response-time, or uptime commitment.
Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled; cancel anytime through your App Store or Google Play account, and the cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. Refunds are handled by Apple or Google under their own policies, not by us directly.
3. Your content
You keep all rights to the videos you record or import and the digests Video Summary makes from them. The app never uploads, shares, or otherwise sends your videos, audio, or transcripts anywhere — see the Privacy Policy for exactly what does and does not leave your device. You are responsible for having the right to record or import any video you use with the app, and for how you choose to share a digest or clip once you export it.
4. Disclaimers and liability
The app is provided "as is", without warranties of any kind. On-device speech recognition and audio analysis are not perfect and may miss or misjudge which moments matter in a given video. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential damages arising from your use of the app. Nothing in these Terms limits rights that cannot be limited under the law that applies to you.
5. Changes and termination
We may update these Terms; material changes will be posted here with a new date before taking effect. We may discontinue the app or any feature. You may stop using the app at any time by deleting it.
