1. Acceptance of these terms
By downloading, installing, or using Morphfun, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the app. These terms are shown again, in shorter form, the first time you open the app, and continued use after that constitutes ongoing acceptance.
2. What Morphfun is
Morphfun is a photo-art app that redraws photos into sketches, paintings, and shareable viral formats using AI image models. It runs on a Bring Your Own Key model: you supply your own API key for an AI provider (Google Gemini, OpenAI, or fal.ai), and the app calls that provider directly on your behalf. Morphfun has no server of its own and does not generate images itself — it is a client for the AI provider you choose.
3. Eligibility and age
Morphfun is intended for a general audience. If you are under 13, you should use the app with a parent or guardian's guidance, consistent with the content notice shown on first launch. By using the app you confirm you are old enough, under the laws where you live, to agree to these terms — or that a parent or guardian has agreed to them on your behalf.
4. Your API key and your provider account
Any API key you enter is yours — obtained from, and governed by, the provider you chose (Google, OpenAI, or fal.ai). You are responsible for keeping it secure, for any usage charges your provider bills you, and for complying with that provider's own terms of service. Morphfun stores your key locally on your device and is not a party to your relationship with that provider.
5. Acceptable use
You agree that you will:
- Only morph photographs of yourself, or of people who have explicitly consented to being photographed and transformed
- Never create or share content that harasses, defames, misleads, or otherwise violates another person's dignity or rights
- Never use the app for unlawful, infringing, or harmful purposes
- Only use images you have the right to edit and share
6. Ownership of what you create
You retain ownership of the photos you provide and the images Morphfun helps you create, subject to the underlying rights in your original photo and to the terms of the AI provider that generated the result — some providers place their own conditions on output from their models, and those apply in addition to these terms.
7. Subscription, billing, and cancellation
Morphfun is subscription-only: a 7-day free trial, then $4.99/month. Payment is charged to your Apple ID or Google Play account at confirmation of purchase, and the subscription renews automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Manage or cancel your subscription in your Apple or Google account settings — cancel before day 7 of the trial and you will not be charged. We do not process payments directly and cannot issue refunds ourselves; refund requests go through Apple or Google under their own policies.
8. No warranty
Morphfun is provided "as is" and "as available." AI-generated results can be inaccurate, unexpected, or occasionally refused by the underlying provider (for example, on safety grounds) — we do not warrant that any particular morph will succeed, look a certain way, or be available at any given time. We make no warranties, express or implied, about the app's fitness for a particular purpose or uninterrupted availability.
9. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the developer of Morphfun is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the app, including damages arising from content you create, from your AI provider's handling of a request, or from a subscription billing issue between you and Apple or Google.
10. Third-party services
Morphfun integrates with third-party services that each operate under their own terms, independent of this agreement: your chosen AI provider (Google Gemini, OpenAI, or fal.ai), RevenueCat for subscription management, and the Apple App Store or Google Play for billing and distribution. We are not responsible for the acts, omissions, or terms of these third parties.
11. Termination
You may stop using Morphfun at any time by deleting the app and cancelling your subscription through your Apple or Google account. We may suspend or discontinue the app, or any part of it, at our discretion — since we hold no account or data of yours, "termination" on our side has no account to close.
12. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms as the app changes. Material changes will be reflected by updating the "last updated" date above. Continued use of the app after a change constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
13. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the developer's jurisdiction of residence, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, except where local consumer-protection law in your own jurisdiction requires otherwise.
